2021 Carlson Paving Tapered Notch

Leading the way in creating safer work zone transitions from existing roadway surface to the pavement, the Carlson Tapered Notch utilizes easily accessible adjustment points for on-the-fly adjustability and user-friendly operation. Available in 12” and 18” widths, the Carlson Tapered Notch comes standard with electric heating elements and Y-cables for accessory power.

Carlson also offers two models of compaction sleds to be paired with the Tapered Notch. Contractors are able to choose between the Small Sled, perfect for berm compaction and small applications, and the Heavy Sled, able to ballast up to 400 lbs with adjustable 0-3000 vpm eccentric weight vibration.
